Senior Project Manager - ERP ImplementationLocation: UK, Ireland, Belgium, and Work from home
Duration: 6 months initially, scope for further work thereafter.
Our top 5 global pharmaceutical client is searching for a senior project manager to support the integration of a new business unit. They are looking for an experienced and confident consultant to oversee and manage the ERP integration of all systems including finance, HR and logistics among others.
Key Responsibilities
• Project manage the integration of the new business into the existing ERP platform for sites in UK/Ireland.
• The main scope of the role is to project manage the integration of operational systems onto the ERP platform including financial systems, master data, customer services, supply chain and supplier contracts.
• Gaining stakeholder buy-in for the project and working closely with the Logistics, HR, Finance, Quality and Legal departments to ensure project delivery to strict timelines, within budget and mitigating risk and all disruptions specifically to supply chain and customer services.
• All planning and scheduling responsibilities will be the responsibility of the senior project manager with regular progress reports to be related to senior business stakeholders.
• Management of the project team of 10 direct reports and another 10 non-direct project based resources from IT.
• Role to be based from home with extensive travel to Belgium, UK and Ireland to meet with stakeholders and drive project delivery.
Requirements
• Outstanding project management experience of complex projects in the pharmaceutical or related manufacturng industry.
• Experience of ERP implementation projects, JDEdwards experience is an advantage.
• Functional knowledge of IT systems in a manufacturing company, ability to communicate and explain basic principles.
• Wide business experience, having rolled out projects within a variety of business departments such as IT, HR, Finance, Supply Chain or Legal.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders and gain stakeholder buy-in.
• Pragmatic and no-nonsense approach to projects.
• Happy to travel 50% essential with the ability to be flexible to project requirements.
