Description
My client a well known managed service company are currently seeking an experienced SAP PI Developer or has strong experience with (Java Stack) for an initial 2 month contract with the view to extend.
The tasks to be performed on a daily basis include
Responsibilities include:
- Manages communications, including the centralised tracking of design/build related issues in the nominated tool, between the Offshore PI Development team and Client SMEs across all project phases/releases.
- Facilitates the daily status update calls with the Offshore PI Development team.
- Tracks the progress of Offshore development activities for each release, including ensuring that the required documentation (ie IDD, DTD, test plans) is being completed and stored in the appropriate tool (eg IPWC, HPQC) Obtain the required approvals for IBM deliverables, including facilitating document walkthroughs with the relevant stakeholders.
- Works closely with the Test Manager to assign identified defects to the appropriate Developer for resolution.
- Works closely with the other Consultants to remediate business-related clarifications.
- Provides a daily status update to the PM/Test Manager. This includes listing the development tasks assigned to each Developer by release, the ETC against each task, any roadblocks that require intervention by the PM/Test Manager
- Deliverables: IDD (IPWC), DTP (IPWC), Test Scripts (IPWC & HPQC).
- Work Products: RAID Log (IPWC), Deliverables/Work Product Matrix (IPWC), Defect Management Log (HPQC).
Mandatory Skills Include:
- Strong SAP PI (Java Stack)
- need to be immediately available or on 1 weeks' notice period
- Experience with SAP B2B toolkit
