Description
As the Solutions Architect within this enterprise scale site, you will be required to provide the following DUTIES:
- your expertise and strategic support to develop this federal government agency's enterprise architecture
- planning and delivery support of ICT systems across enterprise
- innovative approach to development of technology to business requirements
- specifications development
- produce road-maps
- create artefact's
- ensure governance requirements are met at a systems level
Additionally:
- review benefits of IT investment including ROI analysis
- contribute to risk assessments
- support and mentor staff within system operations
Initial 12 month engagement with extension options.
Industry qualifications, experience and certifications highly regarded.
SKILLS:
- Domain knowledge across:
- systems architecture, or
- computing and storage systems architecture, or
- network architecture - WAN/LAN/MAN, or
- multimedia systems, or
- applications architecture such as video conferencing, PABX/telephony, CTI
- gateways system architecture
- mobility system architecture
- design abilities within systems architecture
- project or program management knowledge relating to systems architecture
- system development life cycle
- application of systems to deliver business outcomes
- problem diagnosis
- server architecture
- telecommunications
- systems design - PSPF and ISM
- leadership
- presentation
- communication - oral and written, white board presentations to non-IT staff, able to influence key decision makers
Australian citizens are only eligible to apply due to the nature of this government organisation. Preference for existing NV1 clearances however, an ability to upgrade from Baseline is also available.
