5+ years design and develop J2EE E-commerce systems using WebSphere Commerce V7. Strong JavaScript (AJAX/JSON & JavaScript appl. frameworks - jQuery. Dojo, DB2, database/SQL
Design and deliver E-commerce and order management solutions in a B2B environment using a highly collaborative Agile approach to software development. Participation in requirement gathering and process re-engineering activities with customer focused teams with a high level attention to detail. Requires minimal oversight and willingness to transfer knowledge of system design to other development team members.
Note: Candidate must have good communication skills, will be working with other developers.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
IBM WebSphere Commerce Developer is responsible for the design and delivery of technology solutions for B2B Commercial based E-commerce. The engineer will collaborate with team members from all disciplines to produce feasibility assessments, engineering estimates, and dynamic applications. Participate in an Agile based development environment to translate business requirements into specific system and application solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Design and develop J2EE based E-commerce systems using WebSphere Commerce V7.

Contribute to the overall design and architecture of web applications.

Analyze and diagnose any issues that could adversely impact any functional capabilities of WebSphere Commerce applications.

Ensure that our implementations meet the required scalability and reliability required for E-commerce operation.

Analyze and optimize database and core commerce functions for maximum performance.

Web technologies/development (Java, J2EE, HTML, JSP, EJB, Rest services)

Experience in implementation, customization, and integration of IBM WebSphere Commerce sites

Transaction processing systems and catalog design

Experience in configuring SOLR search in IBM to faceted finding of products and help content.

Strong working knowledge and experience with JavaScript including AJAX/JSON and JavaScript application frameworks such as jQuery and Dojo.

Strong working knowledge of IBM DB2 database/SQL.

Ability to work collaboratively in teams with other specialized individuals.

Able to work in a fast-paced, technical environment with minimal instruction.
