Description

Our client, a global leading micro-electronics organisation, is looking for a Data Management Hardware Engineer to work on a long term contract basis within their Data Management team. They are looking for a suitable candidate to join ASAP, since the project has started. The position will be based in the Netherlands and will contribute to your knowledge in configuration management, change control and collaboration.

Department Introduction
The Data Management team provides the toolset that the hardware and software designers need to manage their data and collaborate during the design process. The team is responsible for a number of “off the shelf” applications to support Configuration Management and Change control, Requirements Management and Project/Portfolio Management.

An important platform is the CollabNet TeamForge ALM suite with Subversion as configuration management application. Approx. 4000 R&D engineers across the globe use the applications. The CollabNet TeamForge platform is being deployed to the hardware design community in order to benefit from one integrated configuration management environment via Subversion. In close co-operation with the design projects the new way of working and tool support is being deployed.

Next to the deployment activities, other day-to-day activities in the team are:

. Develop/configure new functionality in the applications
