Description
The candidate will provide Enterprise Backup services, and more specifically will:• Participate in the daily operations of Enterprise Backup
• Administer the Enterprise Backup infrastructure
• Manage the backup clients, schedules and retentions
• Perform backup and restores
• Provide technical support to the users, troubleshoot technical problems and document solutions
• Develop/update scripts to improve/automate the administration of the Enterprise Backup
• Develop and update procedures and documentation
• The scope of work includes “stand-by
Skills:
• Expert knowledge Enterprise Backup principals
• Experience with large scale environments
• Good knowledge in system administration of Windows and Linux
• Good knowledge of shell scripting (PowerShell, Perl, bash, …)
• Knowledge of VMware
• Desirable: Specialized training in data protection, data loss prevention
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Proficient in English.
