Oracle E-Business Suite Team Lead.

Summary: Responsible for design and development of the corporate business applications. This role requires detailed experience of Oracle Project Accounting and Financials and is a mix of "hands on" and team lead duties.

Salary: 60-65k plus competitive benefits package

To lead the support and development of corporate business applications. This role requires detailed experience of Oracle Projects and Financials.

This role is responsible for the overall design, development and support of our corporate business application platform, and assumes a thorough functional/technical knowledge of the Oracle e-Business Suite R12. You must be able to understand both the "big picture" but also have detailed hands on knowledge of how the applications work to be able to guide, mentor and work alongside your team.

The workload is expected to be split between team lead duties (approx 20%) and "hands on" work (approx 80%). A key skill is being able to provide a solution designs for change projects.

Responsibilities:
Functional Expertise
Understand the configuration of business systems in detail and be the main design authority in ensuring changes are designed to fit business need.
Be confident to provide options and solutions to change requests, guiding the business to make the right" decision to fit business requirement.
Identify areas for improvement in the overall system design to streamline our business processes.

Team Management:
Lead a small team of functional and technical colleagues; manage the level of work undertaken by the team across both support requests and project based work.

Change Management:
Manage the change control process, ensuring that change requests and larger change projects are properly scoped, designed, documented and delivered.

Support Services:
Provide a high quality support service to users and regular feedback to the business on time for resolution, working alongside the Finance Change Manager.
Identify persistent problems and liaise with the team and key users to address root cause.
Ensure the system documentation is maintained and change control processes adhered to.
Schedule system downtime for patching when required.

Technical Skills:
Detailed functional or technical experience of Oracle Project Accounting and Financials gained over a number of years.

o If you have a Technical background: Good experience of SQL and PL/SQL and workflow.
o If you have a Functional background: Thorough understanding of core Finance and Projects modules.
o Project Accounting experience mandatory
Any experience of Qlikview or data visualisation techniques would be a bonus.

Non-Technical Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent English.
Proactive in looking for efficiencies in own area of expertise.
Comfortable to mentor and share knowledge across the team to facilitate upskilling of less experienced staff.
Able to explain technical issues to non-technical people.
Able to prioritise according to business needs.
Able to self-manage and be confident in designing solutions and delivering projects.
