Customer Services & Sales Co-ordinator - Contract - Hampshire - Great Rates!

Our Client, a large engineering organisation, are looking for 2 x Customer Service & Sales Support Co-ordinators to be based in Hampshire.

The role sits within a team of 4 and is responsible for being the first point of contact for customers and providing a premium level of customer service to internal and external customers including internal sales teams and global account managers. The types of calls they will receive will be varied, for example it could be a customer chasing an order/product delivery date, a member of the internal sales team requesting information or requesting for a quote to be sent to the customer.

This position plays a key role in the communication between the customer and the business operation and requires a confident, methodical and organised approach. In addition they will process sales orders, be responsible for chasing the internal sales team for customer updates, updating the CRM system and raising quotes for Travel.

  • The individuals will field calls from Customers, internal Sales Team (provide updates and reports) and global Account Managers.
  • Will update Customers on product deliveries (if late, update on a daily basis), paperwork, failed products (in the field).
  • Will also update the CRM system, raise quotes for Sales Team when travelling and many other varied tasks.
  • Will chase the internal departments Sales Team (to update Customers on status of delivery of order)

Skills/Requirements

  • This role requires experience in a face to face Customer Services environment.
  • Experience of ERP systems is essential (our Client currently uses MS Dynamics. Although any experience with other ERP systems would suffice.
  • Good level of knowledge of the MS Office suite of programs, with a particular focus on Word.
  • Background experience within a manufacturing environment is highly desirable although this is not essential.

The key focus of this role is the individuals soft skills:

  • Consummate customer facing skills.
  • Good level of vocabulary (good clear communications skills).
  • Remain calm under pressure.
  • Methodical and process driven.
  • Proactive (able to work around a problem).

No shrinking violets - This person will be required to chase people for answers and information and the individual must be confident and able to get the required information.

This is a varied and challenging role in which no two days are the same

You will be working with sensitive data and as such you should be willing to undergo Security Vetting before being able to commence the contract.
