Oracle Developer/Kuala Lumpur/5 Weeks/£NEG
We are looking to recruit an Oracle Developer for a duration of 5 weeks to be located in a Delivery Centre in Malaysia.
Our client are looking for the following experience and skill set:
* Sets standards for programming tools and techniques, advises on their application and ensures compliance.
* Takes technical responsibility for all stages in the software delivery process.
* Prepares project and quality plans and advises systems development teams.
* Developing and testing PL/SQL stored procedures and SQL for use by the Java REST APIs.
* Implementing schema changes and writing upgrade scripts.
* Maintaining the database script release and deployment.
* Writing data migration scripts.
* Developing SQL*Plus reports.
* Performance tuning using explain plan and AWR reports.
* Defect investigation and fixing.
* Work closely with architects, Java developers, system administrators, DBAs and testers.
* Oracle 11g
* Oracle PL/SQL (5+ years)
* Working with complex PL/SQL (proven track record)
* Oracle SQL (5+ years)
* Performance tuning using Explain Plan and AWR reports
* SQL*Loader
* Datamodelling and DB design including normalisations.
* Understanding of database architecture
* Appreciation of Object/Relational Mapping
* Basic DBA skills such as installing single instance, start-up/shutdown, creating users and creating tablespaces.
* Requirements gathering
* Solution design
* Applies robust software development standards in all work
* XML
* Linux
* Shell Scripting
