Description
Working for a renowned financial house this role will see you develop global solutions for use within the investment banking domain, whilst also giving you exposure to top technologists and product managers across Asia, in an agile environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop Java/Python/Scala based applications
- Drive development delivery across Asia
- Act as a key point of contact between product, data and technology teams globally
- Support agile development methodologies, providing guidance and support to the team where necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Significant hands on experience in developing Java, Python and/or Scala based applications
- A strong functional understanding of the investment banking industry.
- Solid ability to work with geographically diverse teams
- Proven record in Object Oriented Design patterns and development methodologies
- A creative and dynamic approach to problem solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- A significant proven track record in delivering support within a very high pressured financial markets environment
