Description
The main purpose of the role is to ensure the delivery of an effective and efficient Mechanical Engineering function.
You will be responsible for ensuring the mechanical design function of the organisation deliver full technical delivery on a range of designs for new products.
The successful candidate will have the following background -
* Ideally degree educated in Mechanical Engineering or vast experience in a complex industry such as defence, aerospace, automotive or medical.
* Experience of running teams and having responsibility for the delivery of projects.
* Thorough understanding of mechanical engineering, mechanical design and the lifecyle management process.
* Must have the ability to inspire and motivate engineers including mentoring, coaching and counselling when required.
* Must be currently SC cleared.
