Our direct client in Austin, TX has an immediate opening for a Mobile Workforce Management Business Analyst. This is a contract position, with extensions being likely.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 years - Leading functional design/gap analysis efforts for a complex COTS package and extended solution
- 4 years - Leading the functional design/gap analysis effort for a Mobile Workforce Management domain
- Experience working on 2 or more Mobile Workforce Management system implementations in the utility industry, preferably from two or more distinct MWM product vendors
- Be a Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Mobile Workforce Management processes and systems in the utility Industry including field service processes such as outage management, construction, connects, disconnects, exchanges, troubleshooting for an AMI electric meter network, and including scheduling and dispatch for planned and corrective maintenance service
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define the functionality of the Mobile Workforce Management (MWM) System application (intended to be a COTS package), including the logical data mapping for data conversions and interfaces
- Act as the Functional Lead for the project, collect and analyze the business requirements from multiple business groups, and conduct gap analysis of these requirements against best-of-breed COTS package
- Align the business requirements with viable package functions, and advise if some requirements are not typically supported by leading COTS solutions
