Our major client has an URGENT new requirement for an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer (or a web developer with Ruby experience) to undertake a new 6-12 month contract in Philadelphia, PA.The successful candidate will have extensive experience of:
- Ruby on Rails (RoR), HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and frameworks including YUI, Prototype, GWT, jQuery, etc)
- Coding Server Side page generation such as JSP
- Development of rich, user-facing web interfaces
- Cross browser development techniques
- Cross browser degradation
- Development of HTML/CSS based web sites
- Advanced CSS concepts and techniques
- Ideally CSS3 and HTML5
