Description
A contract systems analyst role has arisen within an investment bank in London. This role is destined to last 6 months (rolling) and will between £ per day.My Client are looking for Minimum 7 years combined experience of programming, systems analysis and preferably systems architecture. This also includes:
- IBM COBOLCICSDB2 and or IBM WTX (WebSphere Transformation Extender) knowledge is preferable, alongside a variety of other programming skills & technical knowledge.
- Proven experience of working successfully within a complex team, matrix layered, multi stakeholder organisation;
- Excellent organisational skills and proven ability to define, structure and implement standard processes.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with personnel at all management levels including senior executives.
- Resourceful/flexible, able to work under pressure.
- Ability to prioritise work to successfully deliver service to agreed levels in a diverse and constantly changing environment.
- Comprehensive commercial orientation, appreciating the business usage of systems developed;
- Ability to manage offshore resources effectively
Advantages, but not essential:
- IBM Connect:Direct
- Java programming and server based technology (e.g. UnixLinuxAIXIBM WebSphere etc) preferable but not essential.
- Knowledge of system integration products, technologies or architecture, e.g. IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (ISBI)
- Knowledge of SAP technology (most notably SAP ERP)
- Data transport security (e.g. SSL, SFTP/SSH) and data encryption (e.g. S/MIME and PGP).
- Databases such as IBM DB2 or Oracle.
- Any other programming languages such as C,C++,Visual Basic etc.
