Service Desk Analyst (1st/2nd Line) - 3/6 Months contract+ - East Grinstead (West Sussex)

My client has an immediate requirement to fill the gap for a Service Desk Analyst, to come on board for a contract term lasting at least 3/6 months (subject to possible extensions thereafter)

Required experience:

-2 years experience of working on a busy service desk providing 1st and 2nd line support to at least 250 users

-Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software and networking issues over the phone and desk-side

-Broad expertise in supporting the following:
1. MS Windows (XP - 7)
2. MS Office )
3. Active Directory
4. MS Exchange (2010)
5. Mobile (Android Smart phones)
6. Desktop Rollouts
7. Apple Devices incl. Ipads/Iphones

Desired experience:

1. Avaya
2. SAP
3. SCCM

FYI: The candidate will be working in a team of 3, logging on average calls per week, supporting a user base in excess of users. They are looking for someone with excellent customer facing skills and ideally located within a 30/40 minute proximity to the location.

*WEEKEND WORK REQUIRED ON A ROTA BASIS (OVER-TIME OFFERED)*

The client will be looking for someone to start as early as next week, and need someone who will be available for interviews this week and in a position to accept an offer with immediate effect.
