Global retailer is looking to hire an eCommerce Project Manager who will be responsible for delivering projects for the ecommerce/multi-channel team. The projects will involve working closely with all departments across the business so communication skills are essential.Key experience
Manage complete lifecycle of projects
Experience of delivering projects on the multi-channel roadmap
Manage 3rd parties and internal teams to deliver clearly defined and agreed project deliverables
Experience of working with senior management
The position will be responsible for delivering projects as mandated by the ecommerce/multi-channel team. You will also drive and continually improve business processes ensure the successful end-to-end coordination of all milestones and documentation efforts amongst the different business teams. Projects will involve working closely with all departments across the business.
This role is part of the ecommerce team, but work exclusively on multi-channel projects, especially focusing on IT.
Key responsibilities;
- Manage the complete lifecycle of projects on the mutli-channel roadmap
- Ensure that agreed project deliverables meet the defined levels of quality, timescales and budget constraints within the project
- Manage 3rd parties and internal teams to deliver clearly defined and agreed project deliverables
- Provide necessary leadership, planning, communication and control activities within those teams to ensure the timely delivery of deliverables
- Manage all risks and issues and escalate to the Programme Manager where they cannot be contained within the particular project / sub-project, providing appropriate options and mitigation's
- Be an expert in the use of the project management processes and workflows
- Plan the full activity list and overall resource requirements (internal and external) with timelines
- Track and communicate progress through the prescribed project communication
- Ensure ongoing understanding of relevant industry and technical knowledge, which is pertinent to the business and projects being delivered
