Description
We are looking for a Quality Engineer for a 6 months contract in Germantown, MD.
Skills:
- At least 3 years' experience in testing tools (HP Quality Center, JIRA etc.) technologies required to execute various forms of system testing (regression, performance, etc).
- At least 3 years' experience in full system development life cycle, experience with test planning, test case development, Black Box & gray box testing & test reporting.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 5 years' experience in testing tools (Rational Functional Tester, HP Quality Center, etc.) technologies required to execute various forms of system testing (regression, performance, etc).
- At least 5 years' experience in full system development life cycle, experience with test planning, test case development, Black Box & gray box testing & test reporting.
- At least 3 years' experience in test design, execution & traceability.
- At least 3 years' experience in defect management and configuration management process.
- At least 3 years' experience in defect tracking/resolution using ClearQuest tool.
- At least 3 years' experience in Scripting experience
- At least 3 years' experience in PL/SQL, SQL Plus or TOAD XML Schema
- Knowledge and experience in web services testing

- Ensure that the implementation of new software functionality is defect-free when released.
- Ensure that business rules and requirements are implemented in the software release under test
- Ensure that there is consistency among all releases, especially description of workflow and business practices.
