ICL Mainframe Designer
Key responsibilities
- Providing estimations at various stages during analysis and design phase.
- Providing functional support to the build and test teams as required.
- Contributing in HLD preparation and reviewing HLD.
- Delivery ownership for detailed design
- Provide consultancy support towards analysis, high level design, build, system testing, SIT and other project led testing including non-functional testing.
- Input to roadmap/innovation activities relating to the technical scope including software packages.
- Review of proposed Functional Configuration Changes by Business Areas for performance or other impacts.
- Review business requirements, test strategies, warranty plans and other design related artefacts
- Provide support to Project/Programme Architects in ensuring solution integrity
- Working alongside the ARB (Architecture Review Board), provides Business and Technical Design Authority oversight for the area
Key Skills and Experience required
- 10-12 years IT experience with at least 3 - 4 years of experience in creation and review of design deliverables and technical requirements in Development projects
- Must have strong experience on ICL Mainframe
