Our client, an electronic manufacturing organisation, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work on a long term contract basis within their R&D Centre. They are looking for a suitable candidate to join ASAP, with the position based in Belgium, which will contribute to their knowledge in Software Development.Project Description
The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for the development of starter kit software package for use in health care applications. This kit contains interface driver(s), basic data processing, together with a simple protocol development.
Job Requirements
To fulfil the Senior Software Engineer position, you will need to have the following skills:
. Must have more than 5 years experience in Application Development on ARM cores (Pref. Cortex M0+);
. Must have more than 5 years experience in scripting languages (for example Python, TCL, Shell);
. Experience in low level software and interface driver development;
. Experience in sensor data processing and organisation;
. Knowledge of development in Eclipse/gcc environment;
. Previous working experience in the semiconductor industry;
. Must have excellent English communication skills.
