My client, a market leading global financial services institution is looking for an information architect to join their growing business on an interim basis. This role is a great opportunity for a professional to gain experience in a well known organisation.Responsibilities
- Work closely with other Business, IT and Infrastructure Architects
- Lead E2E Architecture on Information Management and Business Intelligence projects
- Ensure Solution Integrity throughout the change life-cycle (as per the defined Change Framework) on projects and programmes.
- Act as a design authority to ensure that all solutions are fit for purpose, implementable, complete and align with maturing Information and Data Strategies
- Support the development of a portfolio roadmap for Information Management
Skills and Experience
- Analytical and technical ability with a robust grasp of architectural thinking and governance
- A wide exposure to and experience of architecting and delivering complex multi-component data and information architectures and Business Intelligence solutions using a range of technologies across multiple platforms
- Knowledge and experience of delivering Data Warehouse
- An understanding or the ability to quickly gain an understanding of our data models and IM technologies (e.g. SAP DS, MDM, Axiom etc.)
- Experience in creating and managing complex, well engineered documentation materials appropriate to the audience and situation that enable timely and informed decision making
