My client are looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior PMO Analyst / PMO Lead to take the lead of an existing team of two delivering PMO support to a major programme. Responsibilities will include:- Analysis: working with Project Managers to understand deliverables and ensure key milestones are tracked / inter-dependencies are highlighted
- Planning: creating, enhancing, maintaining and updating programme plan in MS Project and adding additional detail and functionality where required
- Working to create a more robust governance structure around the programme, ensuring regular and dependable meetings and reporting are effective at driving delivery against plan
- Working with the Project Managers to ensure project milestones are hit and the programme keeps on track
- Highlighting any areas of slippage, undertaking impact analysis and re-planning where required
- Reporting: developing regular reports and responding to ad-hoc enquiries for Project Managers across the programme
- Stakeholder Management: building strong, collaborative relationships at Project Manager and potentially programme manager level
- Mentoring: to help manage / mentor two PMO analysts currently working on the programme to upskill their ability to deliver the above
- Best practice / innovation: bringing experience to bare by suggesting additional best-practice that would help achieve targets and ensure successful delivery
My client are looking for candidates with the following experience:
- Senior PMO Analyst / PMO Lead with track record of successfully completing activities detailed above for complex programmes within the UK Financial Services sector
- Able to hit the ground running
- Delivery focused, with the ability to work pro-actively to make things happen
- Strong communicator
