EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY:
Steria Recruitment Ltd (a Steria company) provides recruitment and resourcing solutions to Steria, a leading European IT service provider. Steria requires 2 Senior Microstrategy Developers for initial 3 month contract in Birmingham.
The Senior Microstrategy Developers are required to work within a Steria Agile SCRUM Team for a project for a major retail Client. Specific duties for the Microstrategy Develops will include assisting with designing, implementing and maintaining a mobile MicroStrategy-based BI Portal solution for the client based on SOA/Web Services BackEnd that Steria will be creating. The Microstrategy Developers will have full responsibility for the Microstrategy Architecture & Development requirements of the client for the Project.
We're ideally looking for MicroStrategy Developers who have experience in analysing, designing, and developing the MicroStrategy reporting application.
Microstrategy Developers Essential Experience
o Building the MSTR objects (metrics, facts, attributes, custom groups, filters etc.).
o Creating complex MicroStrategy dashboards & also Mobile MSTR application development
o Creating highly formatted MSTR reports, documents, and dashboards using MS Report Services.
o Expertise in developing web services (REST, JSONP, XML).
o Highly experienced in SOA Development & Architecture
o Hands-on experience with normal project activities such as schema creation and development of queries, documents and dashboards design and creation.
o Experience in Agile Project Management Methodologies.
o Fluent Written and Verbal English
o Able to work in a collaborative manner, but also able to take own initiative and come up with solutions to issues.
