Description
We have an urgent requirement for experienced SharePoint Developers, our customer has recently migrated from MOSS 2007 TO 2013 and are utilizing it as their enterprise content management platform.
This is a stimulating role needing excellent SharePoint knowledge, Enterprise Content Management experience, unique Microsoft SharePoint product knowledge and the ability to balance the needs of different stakeholders. The position will involve working for the ICT Service Delivery team, working alongside the ICT Business Solutions teams, Third Party Vendors and with business end users from both a business and technology perspective. The role may also involve working with some other applications but this would represent a minor part of the role.
Responsibilities
- Follow up on post-project migration issues and assisting to resolve
- Assess current usage as well as new applicable technologies which can be adapted
- Provide support and training to ICT Service Delivery team and power users where required
- Drive adoption and support among the business users
Proven experience in:
- Extensive in-depth knowledge and understanding of the capabilities of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server
- Migrating SharePoint content between 2007 and later versions )
- SharePoint architecture, platform design and user interface
- Designing and developing SharePoint solutions using SharePoint tools and .NET (C#, ASP.NET, XML, XSLT, WebService)
- SharePoint Workflow
- SharePoint Designer
- Solutions deployment to SharePoint
- Delivery of enterprise level SharePoint applications, from requirements capture through to delivery and support.
