FUNCTION DESCRIPTION
Master Data Steward
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary users contact point, he/she enforces rules, but also monitor andrequest process updates when necessary.
The Master Data Steward (MDS) is the person in charge of the link with the users (Business clients). His/Her role is to assure that the users' demands are answered and if necessary reported to the Business Data Owner, the Transversal Data Coordinator or the Governance Comity required. His/Her roles are also to help and train the users to the correct use of the master data management system and information. He/She has also the responsibility to verify that the rules and decision taken by the governance comity are followed by the users, in term of quality and time expectancies.
The steward will also support the team in charge of the extension of the MDM program .
PREREQUISITES
Knowledge
- Master Data Management Principles - Medium to Advanced
- INFORMATICA Master Data Solution (Non-user role) - Basic to Advanced
- Project Management Concepts - Basic to Advanced
- Ability to speak & write both French and English
Experience
- 1.5 year or more of experience in Master Data Management.
- 1 year experience as Business Analyst or similar responsibility.
- Past experience with INFORMATICA MDM.
- Asset: Previous job in Pharma

- Good & practical knowledge concerning the master data he/she is accountable for. (Can be developed on site)
- Quick learner:
- Good knowledge in the traditional MDM decisional process. (Canbe developed on site)
- Good knowledge in the stakeholders involved with the master data he/she is accountable for. (On site learning)
- Proactive or at least time-bound.
- Precise.
