Description
Production Operator/Quality Technician required for a world leading Healthcare organisation based in Cardiff for an initial 3 month contract with the aim to have the candidate stay on in the long term. Previous experience of working within a Factory or Production environment is beneficial along with previous Quality Control experience.
This is a full time role working between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm daily.
Technician Duties:
* Working on finished goods release
* Working within Document Control to ensure all paper work is completed correctly, on time and all work is fully compliant
* Will be expected to use measuring equipment to measure products against specifications.
* Discard or reject products, material and equipment not meeting specifications
* Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, installations and work for conformance to specifications
A lot of training will be offered during this position therefore previous experience of the above isnt necessarily essential, however the perfect candidate will be determined to learn with the below experience:
* Computer Literate- Microsoft Office and excel
* Must be willing to take on new challenges in a high pressured environment
* Ability to work well as part of a team
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Ability to handle questions and queries from the shop floor in a timely manner and with a good attitude
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with ERP system/Lotus Notes
* Healthcare sector experience
* Previous quality control experience
* Manufacturing background
