Description
Our client, a top bank, has 8 live Financial Reporting Analyst contract positions. There are vacancies across all levels of experience, therefore any candidates with financial reporting experience are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform detailed 1st review of interim and annual financial statements
2. Prepare more complex interim and annual financial statements
3. Coordinate the distribution of financial statements to both internal and external parties as well as provide relevant supporting documentation and calculations.
4. Assist Specialists in the resolution of issues.
5. Take active role in the training, mentoring and development of Specialists within the team.
6. Supervise Specialists to ensure that pre-work is prepared in a timely manner and reviewed for completeness and accuracy.
7. Work with clients and auditors to coordinate and analyze all financial statements comments.
8. Perform other special projects or tasks as assigned
Desirable:
* Recently Qualified Accountant/Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field plus 2- 4 years related experience.
* Strong computer skills - advanced knowledge of Microsoft office
* Strong analytical skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strong time/project management skills (ability to meet deadlines and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.)
* Attention to detail
* Prior Fund Accounting and/or Financial Reporting experience preferred.
