Proteus Europe are currently seeking a highly skills UI developer with strong C# and ASP.net experience to work with one of our prestigious clients in Ireland. The role will be working for a 6month period inititally with the high possibility of an extension.Desired Skills
3+ years experience implementing high traffic web applications with dynamic UI.
Minimum of 3 years commercial development experience in C# and ASP.Net
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery and other
Experience implementing front-end components optimized for speed and cross-browser compatibility.
Knowledge of modern JavaScript programming patterns, such as client-side MVC, dynamic resource loading, JSONP, event-driven programming, etc.
Exposure to .Net 4.5 and MVC 4
Knowledge of Restful and WCF Web Services, ADO.NET, Custom control development and SQL Server .
Extensive experience converting visual designs to HTML, with an acute eye for detail and design fidelity
Experience of javascript and CSS frameworks, such as YUI, CSS Grid (960, 1140), jQuery Mobile, Event.js, Node.js, Knockout.js, Modernizr, Angular.js and LESS would be beneficial but not essential.
Exposure to agile development practices, especially SCRUM based, would be beneficial
Knowledge of dependency injection frameworks such as Spring.net would be beneficial but not essential
Awareness of code management solutions such as Team Foundation Server and Git.
Comfortable with Test Drive Development using mocking frameworks and libraries eg. RhinoMocks, Moq, MsTest, NUnit, Qunit etc
Familiarity with mobile web development on iOS/Android devices and Responsive Web Design would be beneficial
Knowledge of popular social media plugins, such as Facebook and Twitter, along with their relevant APIs
A portfolio showcasing a track record of creating strong User Interface development experience
