Description
Responsibilities:Provide technical leadership for the Information Services team for designing, coding, modifying, and evaluating Microsoft.NET and SharePoint solutions in support of strategic objectives
In conjunction with SharePoint architects, identify key platform requirements for Extranet, Intranet, and enterprise-wide applications
Devises logic and technical procedures
Performs coding and tests/debugs applications and programs
Develops conversion and system implementation plans
Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation
Builds solutions and perform maintenance that are technically efficient, effective, and follows internal and industry standards
Performs Full Systems Life Cycle, (plan, design, develop, test, implement, and maintain) effectively
Develops estimates and completes assignments on time and within budget
Conducts research, advises on new technology, and evaluates alternative solutions
Provides third level application support for portfolio of internal applications
Effectively works in teams as well as independently
Works with internal stakeholders and development team; minimal travel
SKILLS:
Qualifications:
Deep knowledge of .NET Framework, specifically C# and ASP .NET required
Experience with designing and developing SharePoint based solutions a plus, or a desire to learn SharePoint development as this skill will be required in ever increasing degrees for this position
Experience with Microsoft MVC Framework a plus
Knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and XML
Services Oriented Architecture (Web Services, HTTP, REST) programming experience preferred
Knowledge of Transact SQL (T-SQL) syntax and database development on SQL Server 2008 (or later) platform required
Microsoft development related certifications a plus along with AJAX and CSS
