My client a global media company requires a Market Researcher (specific to Social and digital media) to assist them in developing expertise regarding audience behavior.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct in-depth studies of the client base that identify actionable trends and insights
- Develop expertise regarding audience behavior specific to the EMEA
- Conduct user polls/surveys that provide accurate tracking of timely trends and memes
- Build and maintain an efficient system to quickly answer ad-hoc audience questions
- Monitor syndicated audience data trends (comScore, Nielsen, etc.) to discover trends as they emerge, and synthesize with the business insights strategy
- Surface relevant third-party audience insights to key teams
SKILLS
- 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience
- Advanced degree in psychology, statistics, economics, behavioral or social science or a related quantitative field
- Outstanding statistical and data analysis skills (eg significance testing, regression modelling, factor analysis, etc.)
- Solid track record of inspiring corporate action based on data-driven insights
- Experience using SPSS, SAS, R, Matlab, or other statistical packages
- Experience using SQL & Excel 2007
- Solid understanding of the advertising industry (especially online) and measurement methods/technologies most commonly used
- Track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
