Data Engineer Analyst - Big Data Cloud Platform - Azure - ETL - SQL Database
For one of our customers, we are currently recruiting for a Data Engineer Analyst.
Responsibilities:
- Capture and analyse high-level business requirements for the different data sources of Digital Marketing with marketing stakeholders.
- Setup and maintain Azure based big-data platform
- Define the specifications and create flexible interfaces between data sources and Azure data platform.
- Testing the interfaces and provide needed support for data manipulation & reporting needs.
- Develop, maintain and optimize the platform and interfaces as needed.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience of working with cloud based big-data platforms and technologies like Azure, Hadoop, MapReduce. Experience of working on other big-data cloud platforms like AWS is a definite advantage.
- Hands-on experience of creating and handling interfaces between multiple data sources and storage platforms.
- Solid experience of working with distributed systems development.
- Exceptional ETL Design/Development knowledge.
- Experience building and managing Big Data SQL Database like Vertica, MemSQL or VoltDB.
- Ability to capture business requirements and adapt to changing requirements.
- Ability to manage data quality and platform optimization issues.
- Most importantly be a good team player and willingness to learn and implement new Big Data technologies as needed.
