SAN Specialist (storage)
Endeavour Recruitment has an exciting 15 week contract opportunity for an experienced SAN Specialist to work with our Global Technology client in Brussels, Belgium.
The role
- Install, configure and maintain construction storage infrastructures
- Provide daily storage and SAN health checking
- Perform data migrations
- Provide management reports for data environments
- Install and configure storage area networks
- Monitor the production environment
The Candidate
Experience required of the System Engineer
- 3+ years' experience in a systems administration or engineering role
- Experience with Storage Area Networks
- Experience with data replication technologies
- Strong working knowledge of Backup Environments
- Fluent in English
Desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- Fluent in French or Dutch
- Strong working knowledge of IBM SAN Volume Controller or comparable technologies
