Job Description:
- Advises and recommends areas of program planning, business requirements management, budget execution and program coordination
- Prepares needs assessment
- Validates resource requirements and develops cost estimate models
- Creates actionable status reports for special initiatives highlighting issues and mitigation options
- Tracks the accomplishments, risks, issues and mitigation plans
- Summarizes the key items from various project status reports
- Creates Situation reports for various issues
- Tracks the Ops and Cap spend trends and create reports regarding financial variance
- Maintains vendor scorecards, contracts and tracks renewal dates
- Gathers and Interprets, evaluates, and interrelates research data, and develops integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making
- Provides consultative, advisory, technical, and staff support, as appropriate
- Ability to use survey and market research methodologies, systems, and techniques
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related discipline
- 2-3 years' IT-related experience or 5 years of directly related progressive work experience in project analysis or operations analysis
- Minimum number of years' experience required:
- Background in Business Analyst role - 2 years minimum
- Project Management/Project Coordinator experience - 2 years minimum
- Project Finances - 1 year experience (desirable)
- Expert knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Knowledge of Project Management Tools and MS Project highly desired
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal; good interpersonal skills
- Maturity of judgment under pressure/ability to resolve problems without delay and/or to seek managerial intervention
- Flexibility and the ability to operate under stressful, time-sensitive deadlines
- Detail orientation and good organizational skills
- Good customer service orientation
- Ability to bring a group to people together to dissect a problem, brainstorm solutions and document them
