Document Messaging Technologies, DMT, inserting machinery

My client is an industry leader in customer communication technologies. They are seeking to recruit an experienced electro-Mechanical Engineer to be based on-site at one of their high profile customers. As an on-site engineer you will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective technical solution service for both internal and external clients. You will also be fully responsible for maintaining and installing their Document Messaging Technologies (DMT) high-speed inserting machinery for paper-based message delivery. This will include all aspects of problem solving, key operator training, supporting demonstrations, machine preparation and advising customers on machine configuration and technical matters.

The locations are based around either: Liverpool, Norwich and Bristol. This is initially a contract position with a view to go permanent or extend.

Experience in the following areas is required:
  • Previous electro-mechanical experience in a technical/engineering/manufacturing environment
  • Hold a recognised Engineering qualification ie HNC/City & Guilds (an A+ Accreditation would be desirable)
  • Ability to communicate at all levels in the organisation
  • Ability to work effectively on your own and in a team
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Self-Motivated and self-disciplined, with a positive attitude and confidence in your own technical ability
  • A good level of PC literacy
