The Client
Our client is currently involved in new product introduction projects which involve Supplier relations in all parts of the manufacturing engineering business, including Mechanical machined components and hardware and electrical components, boards and systems.
This company is also rolling out a new supply chain perfect journey process.
The role
Due to growth and expansion these manufacturing roles will be working with manufacturing processes and quality processes within the company and involve the provision of technical support and information to suppliers.
The technical support required can be in the area of machined metals or electronic products.
The Person
We are looking for a supply chain engineer with a background in manufacturing, production, process or quality who have perhaps started their careers in a hands on role and so have technical appreciation for CNC(or engineered metals) machined components or electronics knowledge. Experience of processes and documentation of processes and experience in a problem solving/audit or supplier liaison role.
An Aerospace or Automotive background is highly desirable for all roles.
Technical:
Supply Chain, PFMEA, Audits, Process mapping, 8D, Quality, Cause and effect, Manufacturing, concessions.
Commutable: All West Midlands
