Web Development role:
High end professional services outfit are in need of a web developer to join an existing team. This is an immediate requirement for a contractor- west end location.
The professional services business today is built on successful IT, which is why we need first-class technical expertise at the heart of the business.
Our IT department provide the systems and telephony tools required day to day by the business, as well as manage the website, our multiple technology tools and provide training, to make sure we are able to meet client demands. Key responsibilities of the Web Developer:
contributing to the web development by enhancing and maintaining external web applications, whilst also contributing towards technical design, coding, testing and deployment.
Qualifications and Experience required for the Web Developer:
We are looking for a Web Developer who understands the latest trends in Front End web development and development tools.
You must have experience working with
HTML5,
CSS3,
Sass,
JavaScript
jQuery,
whilst it would also be desirable but not essential to have a knowledge of ASP.NET Web Forms, MVC, Visual Studio Experience and Agile Software Development. You will ideally have a background working within a large organisation with experience in working with high volume public websites and an understanding of the development life cycle for web applications.
