The program involves partnering with assigned process owners for multiple IT processes, to establish process governance,  document To-Be processes, provide training and communication, implement improvement opportunities and initiate IT Tools rationalization efforts, as appropriate. 

Outcomes of the program 
Process ownership established across all IT processes 
Process Owners trained on how to drive improvements within their respective areas utilizing a process driven approach 
IT processes standardized and documented in a consistent manner 
Improved transparency to enable better decision making 
Improved, streamlined processes resulting in several potential benefits including, quality, productivity, cycle time, process efficiency and effectiveness of IT services

Skilled at influencing in a complex, matrixed organization to drive excellent results 
Ability to create clear, concise and compelling presentations 
Excellent interpersonal and overall communication skills 
Able to teach other IT professionals how to implement process improvement techniques to improve their operations 

Specific responsibilities include: 
Establish a cross functional governance structure 
Train and work closely with assigned process owners in different functional areas to use a standardized process driven methodology that will help improve quality and efficiencies across IT operations 
Experience in using/developing the following artifacts: Project Charter, SIPOC, VOC, To-Be process flows, FMEA, Gap Analysis, Measurement Systems Analysis, Communications and Training Plans, Control Plans, Metrics, etc 
Ensure the appropriate business process assessment and analysis is completed to identify business process gaps and impacts as they pertain directly to projects and programs; 
Orchestrate activities and provide structure and direction to others regarding standard techniques and tools to gather the appropriate set of functional and non-functional requirements in an organized and repeatable way; 
Develop strategies and plans to assess impacts and potential risks of solution alternatives, and to identify solution component sharing and opportunities for re-use 
Partner with multiple teams to drive and complete process related deliverables 
Provide process leadership and influence direction to SME teams and other IT professionals supporting the delivery of process standardization and improvement for IT 
Apply consistent methods for selection and evaluation of process initiatives 
Coordinate with other process teams to identify cross-program dependencies and leverage resources appropriately 
Lead process improvement/standardization efforts in an IT field as identified by IT and business leadership 
Identify defects and eliminate waste, standardize and improve processes 
Effectively manage process design and improvement projects 
Enhance individual and team performance by creating a climate of consistent and continuous learning (promote new ideas, conduct knowledge sharing) 
Participate in the development and ongoing maintenance of Process Strategy
Support a team atmosphere which is collaborative, stimulating, challenging and fun 

Basic Qualifications: 
Experience developing processes 
10 years of experience in IT Process Excellence Roles 
Working knowledge of IT operations 
ITIL implementation and/or ITIL process improvement hands-on experience 
ITIL V3 foundation level certified 
Six Sigma Green Belt certification or demonstrated equivalent work experience 

Other Preferred Requirements: 
ITIL V3 certified ( Managing Across the Lifecycle or ITIL Expert level) 
Six Sigma/Lean certification and experience with proven results/successful projects
Implementation or audit experience in COBIT/CMMI 
Experience using organizational change management, transformation, facilitative leadership, and project management methodologies 
Demonstrated ability to collaborate, communicate, influence and work effectively with a broad cross section of functional areas 
Experience with diverse teams and projects or programs in the implementation of large-scale, complex IT process initiatives that achieved financial benefits 
Professional services/consulting experience (defining engagement scope, negotiating commitments, estimating costs and creating statements of work and service level agreements) a definite plus 
Strong customer focus, integrity and relationship building skills, consensus building skills, success in influencing and ability to delivery measurable results 
Strong customer focus with a demonstrated ability to work seamlessly with business sponsors and technologists 
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
