Montash have been engaged by a FTSE 100 Financial Services organisation to source and secure a Support Engineer to join their team in Dublin on an initial 6 month basis.

Responsibilities

Managing a large DNS network (this includes supporting network changes and upgrades)

Diagnosing and resolving network or DNS solution issues and propose resolutions

Acquiring and maintaining current knowledge of product offerings and support policies to provide technically accurate solutions to customers

Playing a key role in implementing the transition from Infoblox to BlueCat and working closely on tickets and processing changes

Exercising judgment using procedures and practices to determine the appropriate course of action

Skills and Requirements

Minimum 12 months experience with DNS, DHCP, IPAM, TCP/IP and Internet protocols

Experience with TCP/IP network architectures on various platforms (Unix, Linux, Windows etc) and how those platforms interoperate with DNS and DHCP

Excellent analytical and organizational ability

Strong knowledge of Firewalls, Switches and Routers

Need to have support experience, day to day operations, and dealing with the business to request the changes

Directly involved with processing the changes, if there is an outage would assist with the troubleshooting
