C#/ASP.NET Developer
DETAILS
Location: Lewisville, TX
Position Type: 6M Contract (with possible extensions/possible conversion to Direct-Hire)
Hourly/Salary: to $50-$55 W2
ABOUT THE POSITION
GTN Technical Staffing is currently seeking a .NET Developer or a 6M Contract (with possible extensions/possible conversion to Direct-Hire) opportunity located in Lewisville, TX. The .NET Developer will perform maintenance and enhancements on applications (functional and related reports) with limited supervision with regards to code development in accordance with established naming conventions and standards, implementation procedures, and post production testing. The .NET Developer will deliver efficient code that minimizes system performance impacts and minimizes post-installation issues and tests thoroughly. Will work with Business Analysts and Technical Analysts to further define specifications, indicate areas of system impact, and continuously communicates project status and needs. The .NET Developer will assist the application support team in troubleshooting and resolving application system errors. The .NET Developer will be responsible to creates detailed technical documentation of system enhancements (examples of documents include: Design Specifications Documents, Report Guides, System Description Documents, and Change Control Forms).
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of experience with the following skill sets
Hands-on experience in C# (4.0/4.5)/ASP.NET (MVC/MVMM)
WCF (Windows Communication Foundation)/WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation)
Advanced SQL experience - proficient Creating DDL, DML, for MS SQL Server version 2008 R2, and 2012
Practical use of application and enterprise design patterns
ADO.NET Development (Entity Framework)
Understands differences among .NET framework versions 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5, etc.
JavaScript Development (Jquery, Bootstrap, Knockout)
