A number of opportunities has arisen for Senior and Principal Embedded Software Engineers to join a growing engineering team at a leading technology company based in Oxfordshire. My client is seeking a high calibre Embedded software/firmware engineer with strong Embedded C/C++ programming skills, experience of the full software lifecycle, and evidence of strong problem solving to join their firmware team.Requirements:
* Degree educated in Engineering, Maths or Physics or related discipline (2:1 or 1st class)
* Proven commercial experience in designing high quality Embedded solutions
* Excellent low level C programming
* Previous C++ programming
* Scripting languages for test automation (Perl, Python or similar)
* Proficient with standard software development methodologies (SVN, CVS or similar) and defect tracking systems (bugzilla, JIRA or similar)
* Good understanding of software and hardware interface
* Full lifecycle experience (architecture design, development, implementation, test & debug, documentation, taking the product out to market)
* Ability to deliver firmware for multiple Embedded systems
* Strong problem solving ability
* Good commando f the English language (verbal, written, presentation)
