EMBEDDED C, C++, BASH SCRIPTS, PYTHON, PERL, LAYER 2, LAYER 3, REALTIME, LINUX, RF, WiFi, LTE, 3G, WIMAXRole: Embedded Software Engineer
Location: Slough
Rate: £30 - £35 per hour
Duration: 6 months (likely to be extended)
I am looking for an embedded Software engineer to work with a global renowned company.
The role will involve:
- Development, construction and testing of Backhaul solutions for LTE small cells
- Software Design, Code, Test, Integration and Documentation
- Problems investigation and bug fixing
The skills required are:
- Good programming skills in Linux environment using C/C++, bash scripts, python, perl etc.
- Good practical working knowledge of networking - Layer 2 and Layer , 802.1 etc.
- Development of Real Time Embedded Linux Systems on low cost SBCs and SoC based platforms (e.g. TI ARM+DSP).
- Good understanding and experience of RF technology (ideally including Antenna control -AISG) and wireless standards and protocols such as WiFi, LTE , 3G or WiMAX .
