Description:
Sperry Partners Group is urgently looking for an experienced Functional Analyst for an On-going project in Brussels, Belgium.
Context
Our client is working on the migration of phased-out electronic document management systems that implies rework of processes and ICT applications. In this context we are actively looking for an experienced functional analyst (FA) being able to capture, structure and document all analysis artefacts that will be integral part of the delivered products.
This is the scope of this demand.
Responsibility
The responsibilities of the FA are:
To understand, detail and translate business needs to functional requirements and product features,
To actively participate to the discussions with the business to elaborate the new solution,
To provide the top-down and bottom-up traceability between business needs, requirements and product features,
To perform those activities in close collaboration with the project leader and development team during the different stages of the ICT clients project life cycle,
To ensure that all solutions proposals are discussed with, and approved by the ICT
Architecture Office that takes care of the vision and coherence of our applications landscape,
To respect and follow all clients templates and artefacts standards.
To respect priorities and timing of the projects' plans.
To always balance choices made against added value for our client,
Technical skills
We are requiring solid knowledge of:
Unified Modelling Language (UML),
Processes description techniques like Role Activity Diagrams, BPMN, ...
Requirements gathering techniques (knowledge of Agile Software Development user stories' requirements elicitation technique is a real plus)
Requirement sizing estimation techniques,
Analysis methodology while our clients ICT has its own standards the BA will have to adhere to,
Microsoft Office suite.
We are also considering knowledge of:
Testing concepts and practices.
Technical Architecture practices,
UML tool Enterprise Architect (from Sparxsystems, see
Soft skills

Experience
At least proven 4 of the 8 latest years of effective responsibility and achieved results in analysis,

Fluent speaking/writing in Dutch/French,
