ABOUT THE POSITION
GTN Technical Staffing is searching for a Senior Business Analyst for a contract opportunity in Irving, TX. The Senior Business Analyst will be a key liaison for multiple internal and external stakeholder groups and needs to possess excellent communication skills - this role will be the face of the BI team to stakeholders.
The Senior Business Analyst will touch several different technologies such as Excel, SQL, SharePoint and SSRS, but the key to the Senior Business Analyst 's success will be their people skills. The Senior Business Analyst will need to comfortable with daily meetings with stakeholders to discuss deliverables and project updates. The Senior Business Analyst with work closely with key stakeholders to gather requirements and create technical documentation. Excellent documentation skills is a must in this role! The Senior Business Analyst must have a good grasp of Business Intelligence concepts and be able to deliver presentations for project updates to stakeholders.
The Senior Business Analyst needs to be able to write and modify SQL scripts, but this will not be the focus of this position. The Senior Business Analyst will manage internal SharePoint site for reporting deliverables and propagation of reports. The Senior Business Analyst must be an Excel Power User and must be able to use Excel tools such as VBA and PowerPivot.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of experience in the following skill sets
Microsoft BI/Business Intelligence Solutions/Knowledge of SSIS/SSRS/SSAS
