Description
We are a small agency specialising in high-end e-commerce design and development work. We are looking for an e-commerce designer to join our team as a freelancer.
We are looking for someone with experience designing online stores that are modern, visually attractive, and that convert well. We need someone who can skilfully strike a balance between aesthetic impact, and the important task of converting visitors to paying customers.
You:
- Good english communication skills. We will want you to communicate your designs with us.
- Experience working in an e-commerce environent.
- Highly focused on detail.
- Able to work well with developers as they implement your designs, including being creative and able to adapt and pursue approaches that embrace the limitations of technology or budget, but that still work well.
- Aware of the limitations and requirements of designing for mobile and desktop environments from a common code base (i.e. responsive design).
- A cover letter/message to introduce yourself with a link to your portfolio
- A link to and a description of your best ecommerce design project
- A link to an ecommerce site you did not design, but that you admire, and please briefly share why you admire it
