Based in Basel, they are located in a city that offers great passage for travel into central Europe, a great outdoors lifestyle and a wealth of culture as it has vast amounts of musical theatre, museums, art exhibitions and other forms of the arts all year round.The position we are searching for is a Quality Control Specialist within a Biological Analytics division. You will ultimately be responsible for the microbiological and biological Quality Control of multiple products. Within this you will be empowered to build relations within the chemical operations teams and with external customers, such as various manufacturing units, research & development and operations.
You will be required to provide scientific and technical expertise on the microbiological and biological QA and QC procedures and will also act as the main point of contact for regulatory body inspections. Finally, you will take leadership of a laboratory team.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess a degree in biology or microbiology, or a closely related field. You will also need to speak both English and German fluently to be considered for this role. We would expect a minimum of 5 years professional working within a GMP regulated environment and ideally direct experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
