I am looking for an experienced RET FX Support Analyst to join a top bank based in the City. The position can be either contract or permanent. The role will require you to come on board and help them with a new project within their FX business. I apologise in advance if this role is not for you.

Responsibilities-

Provide 2nd line support of eCommerce applications in production and test environments.

Analysis of system usage.

Interrogation of Reuters API's including TrAPI, Admin API & LBN.

Troubleshooting of RET network issues with load balancers/firewalls and heartbeating

Problem Management.

Document system changes and provide seniority in knowledge transfer to other team members.

Represent Support in projects and lead infrastructure changes.

The key requirements:

Experience of working with Reuters Electronic Trading

Experience of working in or with Front Office of an investment bank.
Strong domain knowledge and expertise in FX/MM trading and operations

Understanding of ITIL Incident and Problem Management processes.

Problem analysis & Ability to communicate clearly to non technical colleagues

Risk identification within supported systems

Specification and implementation of configuration/data changes based on business requirements

Deployment and management of Reuters electronic trading including:

Database schema creation, understanding the major tables and extracting data through SQL queries
