Network Security Specialist - OSI, TCP/IP, ISO 27001, Cyber Security is required by my client who is based in London
Security Clearance Level Required: SC preferred
Essential Experience:
- Understanding of the current key risk areas in Cyber Security and conduct research on mitigating factors (current technologies). Thorough analysis of technical evidence identify security relevant anomalies in network or operating system activity.
- Understanding of methodologies/tools used in determining risk and provide support in their use.
- An understanding of ICT related technology and how physical, technical, procedural and personnel security can be used to reduce risk to an acceptable level. Understands IT network features and functions, including virtual networking, principles and common practice in network security and the OSI, TCP/IP models and Network functions and features.
- Understands and applies the principles of information and cyber security Understands and proposes appropriate responses to current and new attack techniques, hazards and vulnerabilities relevant to the network and business environment.
- Understands and proposes how to deal with emerging attack techniques, hazards and vulnerabilities relevant to the network and business environment.
- Understands the main features and applicability of law, regulations and standards (Including Data Protection Act/Directive, Computer Misuse Act, ISO 27001) relevant to cyber network defence and follows these appropriately
