An exciting opportunity for a COBOL developer has risen for a large world wide coorporation based in Luxembourg.Our client is urgently seeking an engineer who has around 4 years experience of COBOL development to join their fast growing team of engineers.

Your responsibilities for this role will include the following:
- Working on new projects; projects orientated around major changes or maintenance
- Writing detailed specifications (functional and technical)
- Development and unit testing
- Integration and Integration Testing
- Analysis of failures and correct anomalies
- Updating documentation
You will:
- Participate in the deployment / configuration or implementation, maintenance and testing programs according to specifications provided, delays and different quality standards
- Participate in test design or detailed functional analysis
- Translate technical specifications into computer language
- Write Code
- Maintain applications
Ideally, you will have some banking experience.
Technical environment: COBOL and mainframe
Languages: Must be fluent in French
