Our client is currently seeking a UI designer/developer to expand their already busy team on an initial six month contract.The project itself is to develop the Graphical User Interfaces (GIU's) for their debugger tools. These are Windows based in Java.
We are looking for a developer who has recent GUI development experience, and has done this on a regular basis through their career.
For the right candidate with pre existing GUI development experience C++ experience would be acceptable however that person would need to learn Java as you will be coding in Java.
It is essential that you have strong UI development experience in the engineering world - not web based work or financial institution work.
We are looking for a UI developer who comes from an embedded background as the UI's are often more complex.
