A Materials Planner role has become available with an innovative medical device product development and manufacturing solutions company in Dublin. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands on roles and likes working in fast paced and high volume environments. With this opportunity you will be joining a close knit team, part of a 300 strong company who promotes charity and sports events among its employees.

Job Summary

Manage the incoming flow of raw materials through production in order to provide high quality products and on-time delivery to our customers whilst supporting the development of the supply chain function.

The role of Materials Planner will include:

* Co-ordinate planning and logistics activities relating to Customer requirements
* Work closely with other departments to ensure the lean management of the supply chain to our customers
* Liaise directly with customers to understand their requirements and establish schedules/forecast
* Plan and coordinate Customer shipments
* Responsible for managing MRP System
* Identify and control raw materials requirements consumed
* Ensure compliance to applicable quality requirements.
* Perform additional duties at the request of the direct supervisor

As a Materials Planner you must have:

* Minimum of 5 years experience in production/materials planning
* Strong experience with ERP systems and excellent with Excel
* Worked in high volume manufacturing environment

Desirable Qualities:

* Formal Supply Chain Management qualification, eg. APICS, IIPMM or equivalent
* Warehousing and inventory control experience
