Software Product Assurance Manager:
A leading Space/Satellite provider of space systems who develops, builds, tests and operates satellites for various, space missions within communications, earth observation, space research and exploration.
My client has the capability to carry out complete space missions for its customers, all the way from mission analysis and studies up to and including operations in orbit. The expert capabilities within mission and system design and integration is their specialist area especially within propulsion and AOCS subsystems.
The role of SW Product Assurance to monitor and check for Quality Control within a project.
*Quality control within the project (verifications of processes, plans, requirements)
*SW Configuration and Data Management Support
*Preparation of regular SW Quality Assurance metrics/status reporting to the management and Customers
*SW documentation review (internal and external documents)
*Change Control, reporting and follow-up (NCR/SPR)
*Non-conformances, deviations and waivers management
*Lead Change Control Boards
*Risks and mitigating actions management
*Alerts applicability verification and management support
*SW project team participation
*Direct interface with Customers and Suppliers Counterparts
*Third party audits and certifications preparation
*Understand and follow the applicable ECSS standards
*Participation in reviews and progress meetings
*Reports to Head of Quality and Safety
Skills & Experience
*University degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent;
*Extensive experience in product or quality assurance disciplines, ideally in the space or aerospace sector;
*Experience preparations of SW metrics reporting and follow-up, with deviations from plans and trends;
*Experience in project review and risk management processes;
*Highly proficient with MS Word, MS Excel;
*Experience in Hansoft, DOORS;
*Knowledge of ECSS standards
*Excellent planning and organization skills as well as attention to detail;
*Fluency in English is mandatory
